At the Ballan Caravan Park we are committed to protecting your privacy and we understand your concerns around confidential information and data breaches. The information you provide to us will not be shared with any third party, unless this is required to process your enquiry, booking and payment, or in case we are compelled by law. What information do we collect? We may ask you for the following information:

- Contact information (name, address, phone number, email address)

- Details about your enquiry and  bookings 

- Payment details for your bookings 

- Other information if this is required to process your booking

If you visit our website, our servers will automatically collect your IP address and technical details like your operating system and internet browser. If you send us emails, our provider will store your email address, IP address, host name and any information you provide in your email.

We collect this information to:

- Respond to your enquiry

- Maintain accurate details of our clients 

- Confirm and manage your booking

- Keep guests informed about our caravan park

- Help us develop our public relation activities

- Process bookings, payments and provide receipts

We use trusted external providers to host and maintain our website, store emails and operate communication services (phone, email, etc) as well as to process bookings and payments. These providers are located in Australia, the USA, the EU, and Switzerland, and have different privacy policies in place to keep your personal information confidential and secure. 

While we take great care in selecting only the most reliable service providers, we do not control their operation, and can not be held responsible for their performance, their Terms and Conditions, or the statutory framework they operate under.  

Please note, in some areas of our website links to other sites may be found. These sites are not controlled by us and therefore we cannot take responsibility for their content, claims of offer, or privacy practices.

For receiving online credit card payments, we use only PCI DDS compliant processing partners. We do not store your credit card information on our own systems, but link you directly to a secure payment gateway. If you send a paper form with your credit card details, or provide your credit card details over the phone, we enter your details into a PCI DDS compliant payment gateway or bank-provided EFTPOS terminal, and then immediately destroy the record of your credit card details. We do not keep your credit card details on file in our own systems. 

We will disclose any information we have collected from you to law enforcement agencies and security services, if you act in a threatening, vilifying, or otherwise unlawful manner towards us, our contractors, or business partners.

Giving you control:

All clients of whom we have details recorded have the right to ask for a copy of these details and we will provide you with this information within a reasonable time frame.

We will provide you with the opportunity to opt out of receiving future communications from us. Unsubscribe links are included at the bottom of every email that we send from our mailing lists.
